Dr. Shirley is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.  He then completed a 1 year AEGD post graduate dental program at Barksdale AFB.  He continued to serve in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years as a general dentist, serving in South Korea and finishing his active duty career at Eglin AFB.  He continues to serve as an Air Force reservist at Duke AFB.

Dr. Shirley grew up near the Florida panhandle in Atmore, AL.  He, his wife, Lindsay, and daughters (Savannah and Madison) currently live in Niceville.  Dr. Shirley met Lindsay (also a dentist) at their dental residency program at Barksdale AFB.  After serving their 4 years of active duty, they decided to make Florida their home.  Outside of work, Dr. Shirley enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, playing golf, and enjoying the outdoors.  Dr. Shirley is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Freeport community and is excited to meet you and your family.  

Dr. Lindsay Shirley grew up in Green Bay, WI.  She attended Marquette University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Physiological Sciences.  She then attended Marquette University’s School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in May 2011.  Upon graduation, she entered the United States Air Force where she served as a general dentist.  While in service, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Barksdale AF Base in Louisiana.  She was then stationed in South Korea and most recently, Hurlburt Field.  In July 2015, Dr. Lindsay separated from the Air Force and eventually bought a dental practice in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Although Dr. Lindsay truly enjoyed her staff and patients in Fort Walton Beach, she ended up selling her practice so that she could spend more time with her husband and two young daughters, Savannah and Madison.  Dr. Lindsay joined Dr. Justin at Freeport Family Dentistry in August 2018.

Dr. Lindsay is excited for the opportunity to serve the residents of Freeport and surrounding areas.  She is dedicated to providing quality dental care and treating patients as if they were family.  She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to meeting you and helping you fulfill your dental goals.
